Vicki Favors is a clinical supervisor in our Behavioral Health department.
Vicki got her start as an investigator for child protective services, where she worked closely with children and their families, local hospitals and law enforcement; she then continued on to pursue a graduate degree. In 1984 she accepted a position in our Behavioral Health department, and has been with us for the past 31 years.
She enjoys working in healthcare because it is exciting, challenging and rewarding. “A great passion and commitment of mine is working within a multidisciplinary team,” she said. “Our goal is to provide excellent and cutting edge services to empower, and care for our patients.” She has many favorite parts of her job and enjoys it all; however she especially appreciates the opportunity to work with staff and provide supervision and mentoring each day. All of parts of her job perpetuate her passion for what she does, including the great gift of working with such talented staff.
One of her most memorable career experiences was watching a young child’s compassion towards a man without family present in a group therapy session which brought him out of a depressive state.
