Funded by the Northside Hospital-Atlanta Auxiliary in cooperation with the Department of Oncology, Camp Hope will be held Friday, April 27- Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA. There
is no charge and transportation is provided. Campers must be 18 or older, ambulatory and independent.
A diagnosis of cancer is a life changing event that
starts a journey no one should make alone. To meet some of the challenges you may be facing, Northside Hospital is hosting Camp Hope, a three day weekend retreat for adults diagnosed and/or treated for cancer
at Northside.
Camp Hope’s mission is to create a healing environment for those touched by cancer by fostering meaningful relationships with others through shared experiences, relaxation and fun. Enjoy fishing, boating hiking and biking trails, as well as arts and crafts projects, board games and time for quiet reflection.
