Sometimes women neglect themselves while taking care of others. This is precisely why we created the Heart & Health Center for Women at Northside. This facility is dedicated to giving women access to the health screenings they need in order to better understand the health risks they may face as health needs change throughout their lives. Even more importantly, we make it convenient and affordable to receive these vital services so that women can get the care they need to live longer, healthier lives.
Services and screenings are delivered in a warm, private setting by caring, professional staff members. And we don’t just hand you your test results. We go over them with you, answer your questions, explain the results, and make any necessary recommendations. Upon request, we can send a copy of your results to your personal physician.
When you think of Northside, you probably think about the fact that more babies are born at Northside Hospital than at any other hospital in the U.S. But what you probably don’t realize is that at Northside, we don’t just specialize in caring for pregnant women, we specialize in caring for women at every stage of their lives.

When you sign up for an assessment, we’ll gather the basic information needed to schedule your appointment. If you sign up for the Women’s Health Risk Assessment, you will be mailed a questionnaire (or you can access it online). This questionnaire was created by physicians and specialists on staff at Northside Hospital in conjunction with some of the country’s top researchers. One of the most comprehensive health risk assessment tools available today, it allows us to compile the information we need to project the health risks you may face during your lifetime so that we can formulate a plan to reduce those risks and improve your overall health.
