The Breast Health Coordinator is a registered nurse who is dedicated to providing education and one-on-one emotional support for individuals dealing with breast health issues. Hadassah/“Check It Out”, a partnership with the Greater Atlanta Hadassah, educates young women about breast cancer, including early detection and Breast Self Exams (BSE). Free health screening events are available to corporate and community clients to identify early risk factors and provide breast health education.
Northside’s annual Tennis Against Breast Cancer holds multiple one-day tennis and luncheon events in the fall to raise funds and awareness for the Breast Care Program.
