Education

Northside Hospital has dedicated itself to the detection and treatment of breast cancer. Education is key in preventing breast cancer. Today, breast cancer caught in its earliest stages offers a 98% likelihood of being cured.

Northside's Breast Care Program reaches out to educate the community on breast cancer education and prevention, offering many resources and opportunities to be involved and generate awareness about breast cancer.

Community

Hadassah/“Check It Out”, a partnership with the Greater Atlanta Hadassah, educates young women about breast cancer, including early detection and Breast Self Exams (BSE). Free health screening events are available to corporate and community clients to identify early risk factors and provide breast health education.

Northside’s annual Tennis Against Breast Cancer holds multiple one-day tennis and luncheon events in the fall to raise funds and awareness for the Breast Care Program.
