Kevin Daniel is the clinical data supervisor for the Quality Improvement Department. Kevin has been a registered nurse for 25 years and at Northside Hospital for 21 years.
Kevin's first job was working in the stock room unloading trucks at a local Ohio hospital. He gradually looked for more responsibility and was encouraged by his supervisors to go to college. Kevin applied for a scholarship, and soon he was in nursing school and never looked back.
His favorite part of his job is when he's able to teach patients, staff and families as well as being a resource for our physicians.
"When I am teaching something to a patient or staff, I can see them light up like a light bulb went off," Kevin said. "I can see that they understand and really get what I am trying to show or explain to them. It is really rewarding to me to be able to help someone get better or understand something better."
