Northside’s Business Office is pleased to file insurance claims for our patients. To ensure accurate filing, please do the following:

• Prior to admission, review your insurance carrier’s requirements for pre-certification/pre-authorization. Failure to follow your carrier’s stated protocol could result in reduced benefit payments.
• Present your insurance card at the time of registration.

Other important billing information:

Services provided by other professionals not employed by Northside Hospital− including, but not limited to, radiology, anesthesia, pathology, emergency medicine, perinatal medicine or neonatology− may be billed separately. These providers may or may not be participants in your insurance plan. Please contact your member service representative with your insurance carrier for coverage determination. Specific inquiries regarding professional billing for these services may be directed to:

Payment for charges not covered by your insurance plan− including co-payments, deductibles, private room differences, cost shares, and others− should be paid at discharge. Methods of payment accepted include cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
