New Medical Office Building Offers Wide Array of Medical Care
Northside Hospital-Cherokee is proud to announce the opening of its newest state-of-the-art facility, the Northside-Cherokee Towne Lake Medical Campus, located at 900 Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock. A grand opening celebration was held Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The new 100,797 square foot, four-story medical office building (MOB) is a strategic partnership between Northside and Duke Realty, an Indianapolis-based commercial real estate firm, and houses a wide variety of outpatient health care services and physician practices, representing numerous medical specialties including primary care, cardiology, surgery, ENT and urology. Northside Hospital services include a full-service imaging center, laboratory services and an urgent care, with many of the same experienced health care professionals you see in the Emergency Department at Northside Hospital-Cherokee. The building is Class A and has been submitted for LEED Certified approval from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Green Building Certification Institute as an environmentally friendly facility.
Duke Realty also developed a three-story, 350-space parking garage, which complements an additional 159 surface parking spaces.
Construction on the new campus began in Oct. 2012. The architect was Lyman Davidson Dooley Inc. and the general contractor was Brasfield & Gorrie. The building is owned by Duke Realty Towne Lake Development LLC, a wholly owned entity of Duke Realty Limited Partnership, and is leased solely by Northside Hospital.

“As a physician in Cherokee County for 17 years, I am excited about moving my practice into this state-of-the-art facility and the visibility that it offers me, but more so about the convenience of services that it offers my patients,” said Carl Capelouto, M.D., Georgia Urology, and past chief of staff, Northside Hospital-Cherokee, “with high-quality imaging and laboratory services, combined with the numerous other physician specialties, all available on site.”
“The construction of this project was a great partnership between the City, Duke Realty and Northside Hospital; our building department reports a tremendous experience in working with them,” said Donnie Henriques, mayor, City of Woodstock. “The number of great jobs the new MOB will provide is a strong boost for the Woodstock/Towne Lake area.”
