Northside Hospital has expanded and relocated its Spine & Pain Center in Cherokee County to the Oakside Professional Center, near the Northside Hospital-Cherokee campus in Canton.
Northside Hospital’s comprehensive Spine Center makes evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of back, neck and spine pain as easy as possible, offering self-referral and appointments, within one to two days. Patients benefit from a conservative, coordinated and personalized approach, combining the expertise of specialists in pain treatment, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, radiology and physical therapy, who provide superlative treatment and follow-up care.
“Our focus is on patients with new onset of symptoms or an ongoing untreated problem,” says John J. Moss, M.D., medical director, Northside Hospital Spine Center. “Finding relief from back pain should not be difficult; whether you just require pain treatment or something more, we’ll get patients to the right provider.”
Approximately 80 percent of Americans will experience low back pain sometime in their lives – whether due to a new, isolated injury or a persistent problem. Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to severe pain and spasms. Treatment options vary widely, from applying ice to medication and surgery, but many people don’t seek help right away. The hesitancy can lead to needless suffering and exacerbate the problem.
Northside’s Spine Center is close to the Northside Hospital-Cherokee campus. If surgery is necessary or other complications arise, Northside’s high quality care and resources are available at the Center’s back door… literally. Northside is home to some of the most clinically advanced surgeons and technology in the region.
Consistently voted Atlanta’s Most Preferred Hospital in Overall Healthcare Services for nearly 20 years, Northside Hospital is ranked first in Outpatient Testing/X-ray, Outpatient Surgery and Most Personalized Care by consumers in the 2014 National Research Corporation’s Healthcare Market Guide. Northside continues this tradition of health care excellence at the Spine & Pain Center in Cherokee County.
The Northside Hospital Spine & Pain Center is conveniently located in the Oakside Professional Center at 120 Oakside Court in Canton. Free parking is available on site. Most major insurance plans are accepted and staff will assist patients with pre-certification if needed.
