The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce honored nearly 72 finalists and 12 recipients on Dec. 10 at its annual Health care Awards. The ceremony recognized leading individuals and organizations making a significant impact in Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta’s health care industry.
Among the recipients were Kristin Crea, director of the Concussion Institute at Northside Hospital Duluth, who won for Emerging Executive, and Dr. Rizwan Bashir, also of the Concussion Institute, who won Physician of the Year - Specialist.
“Our community is at the forefront of the health care sector, and we are proud to recognize those that make it so strong,” said Nick Masino, president & CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. “Having these innovative and advanced resources are not only beneficial for residents, but they also enhance our economic development efforts, making the area more attractive for investment.”
