Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute welcomes Drs. Deepali Tukaye and Dr. Michele Voeltz

Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute is pleased to welcome its newest physicians. Dr. Deepali N. Tukaye has joined the Institute’s team of cardiovascular experts in Cumming. Dr. Michele D. Voeltz has joined the offices in Lawrenceville and Sandy Springs (Hammond Drive).

Dr. Tukaye is a board-certified and award-winning interventional cardiologist, whose areas of expertise include myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, cryptogenic stroke, cardiovascular hemodynamics, peripheral vascular disease/critical limb ischemia/acute limb ischemia and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Making a difference in peoples’ lives by lessening the impact of cardiovascular disease is what makes her work so meaningful.

"I believe in providing the same quality of care to every patient that I expect my loved ones to receive," said Dr. Tukaye. "Every patient is unique and customizing treatment plan to their unique lives is an important mission of mine."

Dr. Voeltz has a similar philosophy of care. "The relationship between patient and physician is much like a marriage -- both parties must be actively involved and invested," said Dr. Voeltz, who recently moved with her family to Auburn, Georgia. "I enjoy the personal relationship between my patients."

Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology, Dr. Voeltz specializes in complex coronary intervention, multi-vessel stenting and mechanical circulatory support, and her clinical interests include high-risk cardio-obstetrics, heart disease in pregnancy and women’s health.

The researchers and cardiologists at Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, performing state-of-the-art techniques in interventional cardiology, cardio-oncology, advanced heart failure care, electrophysiology and imaging.

They have eight locations across the Atlanta region - in Braselton, Canton, Cumming, Holly Springs, Lawrenceville, Midtown Atlanta and two offices in Sandy Springs.
