  • April 13: Walk MS in Marietta with Northside and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
  • April 16: Warmer weather is here. Attend a free skin cancer screening in Canton. Appointments are required. 
  • April 17: Two Wellness Wednesdays to choose from: Caroline Helgeland, PT, DPT will discuss Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation, while Savannah Duffy, MS, RDN, LD, will discuss Nutrition Strategies to Reduce Cancer Risk. 
  • April 20: Help us celebrate all babies born at Northside at the Miracle Babies Party at the Zoo. Join Northside and the American Lung Association at the Fight For Air Climb in Midtown Atlanta. And Walk with a Doc … enjoy nature and chat with a Northside physician at Little Mulberry Park in Dacula. 
  • April 21: Cancer Support Community Atlanta’s Chastain Chase 5K offers beautiful 1-mile and 5K routes through Chastain Park. 
  • April 24: Frankly Speaking About Colorectal Cancer is a free virtual and in-person workshop presented by Cancer Support Community Atlanta, in partnership with Colorectal Cancer Alliance, and featuring Drs. Peige Zhou and Shailesh Satpute. Also, Dr. Nandha Kanagarajan will discuss Irritable Bowel Syndrome as part of this week’s Wellness Wednesdays webinar. 
  • April 25: Northside’s ScreenAtlanta mobile mammography van will offer screening mammograms in Conyers. Appointments are required. 
  • April 27: The 2024 Atlanta Multiple Myeloma Symposium is a one-day continuing education meeting to address the latest strategies and state-of-the-art approaches for managing patients with multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders. 
  • April 27: Northside is a proud sponsor of PanCan PurpleStride Atlanta 2024 at Historic Fourth Ward Park, the Inman Park Festival and Parade and March for Babies - North Georgia (Alpharetta). 
  • April 30: Learn the hazards of smoking and using tobacco products, the benefits of quitting, and strategies and skills to cope with urges with Northside’s Built To Quit Smoking and Tobacco Cessation Course. Multiple locations available.
