In May of 1991, Jenifer Reese began treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was a college student at Texas Tech, living six hours from home, and fighting cancer.
More than 25 years later, a suspected case of bronchitis turned out to be anginal heart spasms, a residual effect from radiation treatment. "No one told me about my heart health when I had cancer at age 19," she said.
With the support of the cardio oncology experts at Northside, Jennifer feels prepared for future follow-ups and treatment.
