The Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) Gynecologic Cancer Program is Georgia’s leading provider of gynecologic cancer care, diagnosing and treating more new cases of gynecologic (GYN) cancer than any other hospital in Georgia. Northside Hospital ranks among the top five women’s cancer programs in the country.

  • Cervical cancer was once one of the most common causes of cancer death for American women. Due to increased use of the Pap test to screen for cervical cancer, the number of deaths from cervical cancer has significantly declined.
  • Ovarian cancer causes more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system, but it accounts for only about three percent of all cancers in women.
