When people are diagnosed with acute leukemia, their world changes from one moment to the next. One moment they were feeling ill, the next they are confined to a hospital for 30-60 days. Afterwards, they must have weekly or monthly treatments for a year or more. This affects families and jobs.
Leukemia patients need access to the latest clinical trials to give them the best chance of survival. They also need the support of their loved ones. Because of the sudden life change, many families need financial help for hotels and housing while their loved ones are treated as well as transportation and help with routine day to day costs. Your donation will help fund research and fill the gaps so more people can face and beat leukemia.
