Dr. Lee, a native of Lawrenceville, GA, completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Emory University and his medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at Northside Hospital Gwinnett, serving as a chief resident during his PGY-3 year. In both residency and as faculty, Dr. Lee has been recognized for his commitment to teaching, and has been awarded the Peer Teacher Award in 2019 and the faculty Lesser Teaching award in 2021.
He plays several instruments including the saxophone, guitar, drums, and piano, and dabbled at producing music during college. Dr. Lee’s medical interests include bedside procedural training and education, point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and medical student education. In his role as APD, he also serves as the site-director for NHG’s inpatient clerkship and sub-internship for medical students.
Dr. Lee is a huge Atlanta Hawks fan and has attended a home basketball game every year since 2008.
