Northside Hospital Gwinnett and the Graduate Medical Education Program are proud of the Transitional Year Residency Program.
This one-year program is designed to provide residents the opportunity to experience a variety of specialties throughout the internship. The robust training curriculum makes it possible for individuals looking to move into a specific field (Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology to name a few) and those looking for broad experience across specialties to begin a well-rounded career with a diverse patient population.
Our teaching and support staff are experienced, accessible, and dedicated to educating the physicians of tomorrow.
Our program is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). All interested candidates can apply through ERAS. Thank you for visiting us. We are happy to help you as you decide this important next step in your career.
Our Transitional Year Residents have gone on to match in Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Psychiatry.
