NORTHSIDE OPENS SPINE CENTER IN FORSYTH
Northside Hospital has expanded its Spine Care Program to include a new location on the Northside Hospital-Forsyth campus, bringing the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of back, neck and spine problems closer to home.
Approximately 80 percent of Americans will experience low back pain sometime in their lives – whether due to a new, isolated injury or a persistent problem. Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to severe pain and spasms. Treatment options vary just as much, from applying ice to medication to surgery, but many people don’t seek help right away, leaving them to suffer needlessly or, worse, exacerbating the problem.
Northside Hospital-Forsyth’s comprehensive Spine Center makes evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of back, neck and spine pain as easy as possible, offering self referral and appointments, within 24 hours in most cases. The Center is equipped to diagnose and treat any condition that involves the spine – many of which are relatively minor, but others are severe or require immediate surgical intervention.
