NORTHSIDE HOSPITAL OFFERS FREE HEARING SCREENINGS AT
NEW JOHNS CREEK LOCATION
Northside Hospital now offers Audiology and Speech/Language Pathology services in Johns Creek. The services are part of a growing array of Northside services available to the Johns Creek community.
In conjunction with Better Hearing & Speech Month and to introduce the new service, Northside will offer free hearing screenings to the community in May. Screenings will be available Wednesday, May 16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Northside/Johns Creek Medical Office Building, 3890 Johns Creek Parkway, Suite 140, in Suwanee. Everyone is invited to participate and tour the new center.
Northside’s Audiology Department utilizes the latest state-of-the-art equipment to provide a full range of services for newborns, infants, children and adults - including HearingEvaluations, Otoacoustic Emissions testing, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing and Auditory Processing testing. Hearing aids (including fittings and repair) also are available.
Speech/Language Pathology services are provided for infants and children with a wide range of difficulties including articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, language processing weaknesses, apraxia, oral/motor dysfunction, feeding issues and autism.
With the new location, Northside Hospital now offers Speech/Pathology and Audiology services at three locations including Johns Creek, Atlanta and Alpharetta. All staff are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
