NORTHSIDE HOSPITAL HOSTS FIFTH ANNUAL TENNIS AGAINST
BREAST CANCER LADIES DAY

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Northside Hospital invites all Atlanta women to join in the fight against breast cancer by taking part in the fifth annual Tennis Against Breast Cancer ladies day, Friday, Oct. 26.

Benefiting Northside Hospital’s Breast Care Program, Tennis Against Breast Cancer gives women an opportunity to enhance tennis skills and support breast cancer awareness.  The fun-filled day begins with a morning tennis clinic taught by Atlanta professionals.  Following the clinic, the women will gather for a gourmet luncheon featuring guest speakers, fashion shows, silent auctions, fabulous door prizes, sports chair massages, team photos and much more.  All participants will receive a free gift bag.

In North Fulton, St. Ives County Club, Atlanta Athletic Club and The Falls of Autry Mill will host more than 300 women for tennis drills.  Afterwards, women from all three locations will join together at Atlanta Athletic Club for a gourmet luncheon with Star 94’s Vicki Locke taking emcee duties for a fashion show by Serious Tennis and guest speaker Lauralee Alger from Northside Hospital’s Network of Hope.

In Cherokee, ladies will gather at BridgeMill Tennis Club in Canton.  Pam Carnes, president and CEO of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce will serve as emcee at the luncheon, which features guest speaker James Zakem, M.D., of Northside Radiology Associates and a fashion show by the BridgeMill Tennis Pro Shop.

In Forsyth, Windermere Tennis Club will host the event, which features WGCL-TV’s Stephany Fisher as emcee and includes a fashion show by Premier Tennis and guest speaker Randi Passoff, breast cancer survivor and founder of Atlanta 2-Day.

Registration at all locations begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by tennis clinics from 9 to 11 a.m. and luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

A non-refundable registration fee of $75 per person or $675 per team is required.  Availability is limited, so registration is required.  For more information, or to register, call 404-845-5555 and press “0.”
