There is no doubt that early detection is key to the successful treatment of cancer. This is why we make getting the cancer screenings you need as convenient, affordable and accurate as possible.
To do this, we offer eleven convenient imaging locations throughout north metro Atlanta with extended hours to meet your needs. At each of these locations you’ll find state-of-the-art technology, certified, compassionate technicians and board-certified radiologists. See RADIOLOGY for a complete listing of locations.
In addition, we offer special community outreach and screening programs designed to reach individuals who are at a higher risk of cancer, and our free annual screenings help those most in need.
Lung Cancer Screenings
Northside Hospital will be offering lung screening for eligible candidates at a discounted rate.
- Are you age 50 or older?
- Do you have a family history of lung or other cancers?
- Do you smoke, have you smoked in the past, or have you been exposed to second-hand smoke?
- Have you worked in an environment where you were exposed to substances that could cause cancer?

ScreenAtlanta Mobile Mammography
A specially equipped van makes it possible for Northside to offer screening mammograms — the same quality screening mammograms as used in our outpatient clinics — at various locations throughout the community. Click here for dates and locations
- Can't Afford a Mammogram? With the support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and It's the Journey, Northside currently has funding for mammograms and breast diagnostic services for qualified applicants. Please call (770) 667-4400 for more information.
