Northside Hospital Auxiliary volunteers add a special caring touch as
they interact with patients and families in departments throughout
Northside’s three hospitals. Volunteer activities include, but are not
Assisting with photos of newborns
Working in the gift shop
Transporting patients within the hospital
Assisting and supporting patient families
Helping at the information desks
Performing puppet shows in elementary schools (Atlanta
Shuttling patients and visitors between the hospitals and
Offering support to patients in the hospital’s Cancer
Institute as well as community involvement for cancer awareness
