Northside has been offering cancer care services since 1978, and in that time we have grown into one of the largest and most respected providers of cancer care services in the Southeast. In that time, our mission has remained the same: utilize cutting-edge technology, bring advanced clinical research to the local community, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care to defeat cancer.
An exemplary team of board-certified physicians, specially trained nurses and other health care professionals make up the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute and provide each of our patients with personalized and attentive care. Their dedication, compassion and expertise are what strengthen Northside as a national leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research.
From prevention and diagnosis to treatment, rehabilitation, and support, we've created an integrated cancer care network of experts and state-of-the-art facilities throughout Georgia, where every day we watch cancer patients become cancer survivors and live extraordinary lives. It is that extraordinary transformation that drives us.
At Northside, you’ll find the latest cancer treatments, close to home. Recently, we were awarded a grant by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), as a member of the National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Program (NCORP), to implement a new cancer research program that aims to reach more Georgians in their own cities and towns. We are dedicated to expanding clinical research, improving quality of care, and enhancing our patients’ care experience.
In addition to leading-edge treatment and clinical trials, our renowned program consists of screening and diagnostic services, cancer genetics, and opportunities for support and survivorship.
Northside is proud to have helped so many survive cancer and live extraordinary lives. When we say we offer "a lifetime of care," we mean a long, long lifetime.
