The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB®) has recognized Northside Hospital with its Employer Recognition Award.
“This recognition validates the incredible commitment and dedicated focus our clinical teams have to provide quality care to our patients,” said Janis Dubow, chief nursing officer, Northside Hospital. “We are proud of the many Northside Hospital nurses who achieve national specialty certifications, and we are honored to receive this award.”
The annual award honors organizations that demonstrate “exemplary support” of the certification process in wound, ostomy or continence (WOC) nursing.
According to WOCNCB, Northside was chosen from numerous candidates for displaying encouragement of advancement to all nurses within the hospital seeking national specialty certification.
The award was presented to Northside at WOCNCB's booth during the WOCNext® 2023 conference on June 5 in Las Vegas.
