Auxiliary Volunteers

Volunteering allows you to make a difference in the lives of others

It allows you to get involved in the community, experience health care from the inside, try a new vocation and learn new skills, develop new friendships and SO MUCH more.

Northside Hospital Auxiliary volunteers add a special caring touch as they interact with patients and families in departments throughout Northside’s three hospitals. Volunteer activities include, but are not limited to:

Volunteer activities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with photos of newborns
• Working in the gift shop
• Delivering flowers
• Transporting patients within the hospital
• Assisting and supporting patient families
• Helping at the information desks
• Shuttling patients and visitors between the hospitals and parking
• Offering support to patients in the hospital’s Cancer Institute as well as community involvement for cancer awareness
