Northside Hospital is helping strengthen local communities through its support of Birdies for Charity, the signature charitable giving program of the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure. In 2026, the program generated more than $343,000 for participating nonprofit organizations across metro Atlanta.
The fundraising effort was part of the tournament's overall charitable impact of $558,104.13 raised this year through the Gwinnett Championship Foundation. Since the tournament began in 2013, it has contributed more than $6.3 million to charities throughout Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta.
Birdies for Charity presented by Northside Hospital is the tournament's largest fundraising initiative. Since its launch in 2013, the program has raised more than $3.5 million for local nonprofits, providing organizations with a simple, risk-free way to raise funds and advance their missions.
Northside Hospital became the presenting sponsor of Birdies for Charity in 2026 through an expanded partnership with the tournament that extends through 2030. The long-term commitment reflects Northside's dedication to supporting organizations that improve the health and well-being of communities across Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta.
