Northside Hospital is proud to support the communities it serves through partnerships that enrich lives, foster inclusion and create meaningful experiences for families. In 2026, Northside served as presenting sponsor of Guys and Dolls at The FoCAL Center, Forsyth County's premier performing arts venue.
Nearly 2,000 community members attended performances of the beloved musical, bringing together audiences, students, performers, volunteers and staff in a shared celebration of the arts.
“Your sponsorship helped make those experiences possible — not only for the audiences who filled our theatre, but also for the students, performers, volunteers and staff who worked together to bring this show to life,” said Dawn Phipps, director of The FoCAL Center.
In addition to serving as presenting sponsor, Northside supported cast and crew members by providing meals during two Saturday performances, helping sustain the large production team during some of the show's busiest days.
The partnership also helped enhance one of the production's most impactful events: a sensory-friendly dress rehearsal for members of the special needs community and their families. Approximately 200 guests attended the rehearsal, where Northside provided complimentary drinks and snacks to create an even more welcoming experience.

"Your support of Guys and Dolls was about so much more than sponsoring a show," Phipps said. "You helped us open our doors wider, welcome more people into the FoCAL Center and create meaningful experiences for individuals and families throughout our community. That is the kind of partnership we value deeply.
Phipps said Northside's support helped create opportunities for connection and inclusion across the community.
“We are truly thankful for Northside Hospital's continued investment in the arts, in Forsyth County Schools and in the community we are so fortunate to serve.
“Thank you for helping us make Guys and Dolls such a success and, more importantly, for helping us create moments of connection, joy and belonging for so many people,” Phipps said.
