How Is a Nasal Fracture Treated?

If you seek treatment within 14 days, our ENT may be able to realign nasal bones and cartilage that have been displaced. After this procedure, your nose may be splinted with packing inside and a dressing outside. Your doctor will discuss how long these items should stay in place.

If you have a severe break or an injury that occurred more than 14 days ago, surgery may be necessary. Your provider will tell you what to expect during this process and explain any necessary aftercare. ENT & Allergy of Georgia is here to support you if you’ve broken your nose. This injury can result in a variety of discomforts, but treatment will help your nose mend properly. We’re here to support you through this process.
