The Northside Hospital Gwinnett & Duluth Volunteers are the men and women volunteering to support the patients and staff within Northside Hospital Gwinnett and Duluth.
“It is a pleasure to come serve at Northside, to share our skills, meet people, help families and staff, and be a part of something bigger than ourselves.”
- Gwinnett Volunteers
“Working in the gift shop is fulfilling. You meet great people and have an opportunity to make someone’s day a little brighter. ”
- Duluth Volunteers
Northside Gwinnett will be offering a summer teen program for a select number of rising senior students in High school from June-July (agreeing to volunteer at least 4 hours per week). These students will need to complete the online application, will need 3 references, have a solid 3.5 and above GPA and a letter stating why they want to volunteer for the hospital. Those applications will be accepted March 1- April 3rd. In this program, we will offer several lunch and learn classes."
We realize students need service hours and experience while they are in college and/or entering school for the medical profession.
Northside wants to help you make that happen. If you commit to at least four hours per week to us, we can help you experience the joy that comes from helping others in a hospital setting through volunteering. We can help record your hours, write references to professors regarding your performance and be an introductory resource into the world of medicine.
“We look forward to walking you through this process and commitment to Northside Hospital.”
- Angela Hamlet & Jill Morris
We are now accepting applications for volunteers.
*Note: We do not offer any type of shadowing program nor any type of medical internship thru our volunteer program for college students.
*Note: We are strictly a service and fundraising organization. Please note this is not an opportunity for job placement.
