Northside Gwinnett Extended Care Center is one of just two facilities in Georgia to be named “High Performing” for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in U.S. News and World Report's 2021-22 Best Nursing Homes ratings.

Northside Atlanta and Northside Forsyth are among only six hospitals in Georgia to receive 5-star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in its annual 2021 hospital rankings.

Northside Duluth received the Beacon Award for Excellence® gold designation rom the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

The bariatric surgery programs at Northside Atlanta, Northside Duluth and Northside Forsyth are accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.

For the 12th consecutive year (2009-2020), The Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program at Northside Hospital Cancer Institute was recognized as having among the best survival outcomes in the United States for bone marrow transplants, per data reported by the  Centers for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) in their Final 2020 Transplant Center Survival Report.

The Northside Hospital Breast Care Program is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (American College of Surgeons), which recognizes centers from around the country that have achieved the highest quality breast care programs.

Northside's Breast Care Centers are designated as Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Northside Imaging Centers have additional ACR accreditations in Breast Ultrasound, CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Stereotactic and Ultrasound.

Each of Northside’s Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons granted Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation to the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, as a result of surveys performed during 2019. The Institute also received the organization's Outstanding Achievement Award for six consecutive surveys (the only program to do so) until the award was discontinued in 2019.

Northside hospitals in Atlanta, Cherokee and Forsyth have received NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) designation, demonstrating our commitment and continued progress in improving quality, enhancing the patient and family experience.

Northside’s Atlanta campus is recognized as a Pulmonary Hypertension Care Center (PHCC) by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, recognizing the hospital’s special expertise in evaluating and treating patients with the disease.

Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab at Northside Atlanta and Northside Forsyth and Pulmonary Rehab at Northside Cherokee have achieved American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation certification

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the nation's leading GI medical society, recognized Northside's GI Endoscopy Units for promoting quality and safety in GI endoscopy. Northside is the only hospital-based endoscopy program in Metro Atlanta to receive this recognition.

Each of Northside’s Laboratories is accredited by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Northside Hospital has achieved national Center of Excellence awards from the major insurance managed-care companies as well as national accreditations including ones from:

All Northside hospitals have received accreditation by the  Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for providing quality patient care in multiple modalities, including Echocardiography, Vascular Testing, Vein Treatment and Nuclear Cardiology.
