Overview

Northside Hospital Atlanta (in Sandy Springs) opened in 1970 and is our system's flagship hospital. What started as a facility with 250 beds has expanded to 621 beds, nearly 2,400 physicians and 13,000 employees.

Parking & Transportation

All-day parking passes are available and enable visitors to come and go during the day for a set fee. Passes can be purchased at the parking kiosks located near the:

  • Pharmacy and Emergency department in the Green Lot
  • 5th floor elevator lobby in the Gold Deck
  • 8th floor lobby in the Medical Tower
  • 1st floor lobby in the Interchange Building
  • 6th floor elevator lobby in the Pink Deck

Credit cards and cash are accepted at all parking lots. For parking related problems or concerns, please call the Parking Coordinator at

Below is a breakdown of parking locations:

Main Lot/Green Parking (1000 Johnson Ferry Rd.)
Use for all Medical, Cardiology, Emergency and Surgical Services in the hospital. Entrances located on Peachtree Dunwoody Rd and Johnson Ferry Rd.

Tower Parking Deck/Gold Parking (5670 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd.)
Use for Radiology, GI and Outpatient Oncology Services, and other physician offices/services in the Medical Tower at Northside. Entrances located on Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. and Hollis Cobb Circle.

Women's Center Deck/Pink Parking
Use for all Women’s Services (Labor & Delivery, Breast Care Center). Two entrances on Hollis Cobb Circle.

Doctors' Centre Deck/Blue Parking (960/980 Johnson Ferry Rd.)
Use for physician offices located in the medical office buildings at 960 and 980 Johnson Ferry Rd. Entrance located on Johnson Ferry Rd., between the 960 and 980 buildings.

Interchange Professional Building/Orange Lot (5780 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd.)
Use for physician offices located in the Interchange Building. Entrance on Peachtree Dunwoody Rd.
