Pregnancy and childbirth bring exciting but challenging moments. Sharing your stories with others helps you face those challenges and learn from others’ experiences. Northside Hospital offers parents access to a variety of support groups.
An informal group for breastfeeding moms. Share your stories with and give/receive support from fellow moms. A certified lactation consultant is on hand to answer any questions. Discussion topics include breastfeeding frequency, feeding at night, pumping, when/how to wean, low milk supply, and more. For more information, call 404-303-3329.

Join us for an opportunity to connect and share your adjustment to motherhood with other moms. New mothers with babies up to 6 months are welcome to join a free 4-week support group facilitated by licensed clinicians. Each week will focus on a different challenge of motherhood. Our Perinatal Bereavement team offers a variety of support groups for you to help preserve memories and understand natural grief reactions. Groups are facilitated by H.E.A.R.T.strings and Northside Behavioral Health staff and bereaved parent volunteers who are trained to help, guide and support parents through their loss and journey toward healing.
