Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, and Northside Hospitals in Gwinnett and Duluth have each been recognized with multiple awards from the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® (GWTG) and Mission: Lifeline® quality improvement programs.
The awards recognize the health system’s commitment to ensuring patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.
“I am very proud of our physicians and staff for their constant hard work in achieving these awards, but most importantly for their dedication to helping our patients have the best possible outcomes,” said Patricia Tyson, director of heart and vascular physician services, Northside Hospital.
