Healthgrades, the leading online resource for information about physicians and hospitals, has announced the recipients of their 2021 Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Awards. The awards recognize hospitals with superior performance in specific specialty lines and specialty focus areas. Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, and Northside Hospital Gwinnett/Duluth are among the Georgia hospitals to make the list.
- Northside Hospital Atlanta received the Coronary Intervention Excellence Award.
- Northside Hospital Forsyth received America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement Award.
- Northside Gwinnett/Duluth received the Gastrointestinal Care Excellence, Pulmonary Care Excellence and Stroke Care Excellence awards.
Healthgrades analyzed patient outcome data on more than 45 million Medicare medical claims records for the most recent three-year time period available for nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
